The Sacramento Kings were established in 1923, known then as the Rochester Seagrams. In 1985, they moved to Sacramento and have been known as the Sacramento Kings ever since. Today, they play at the Golden 1 Center, in Sacramento California, which holds a maximum 17,608 people. The teams first and only championship was won in 1951, when the Royals (Kings) defeated the Knicks.
