Oakland Athletics MLB Baseball Collection

The A’s are based in Oakland, CA. Originally the Philadelphia Athletics est. in 1901, before moving to Kansas City in 1955, then to Oakland in 1968. They play at RingCentral Coliseum, aka Oakland Coliseum, which they shared with the Raiders until 1982 and again in 1995 until 2019. The 9x World Series Champions, won 5 of their Championships in Philadelphia and 4 in Oakland. The Coliseum was also used as a filming location for the 1994 movie “Angels in the Outfield” in place of Anaheim Stadium. Many legends have worn an Athletics uniform. From Ty Cobb, Jimmie Foxx, Satchel Paige, Goose Gossage, Mike Piazza, Catfish Hunter and Reggie Jackson.
