The Denver Nuggets were established in 1967 and currently play at Ball Arena, holding 18,000 people. In 1991, the Nuggets took a big step in the right direction by drafting NBA Hall of Famer, Dikembe Mutombo. Despite the impact of Mutombo, the Nuggets still struggled for years to come. Fast forward to 2006, the Nuggets trade for superstar Allen Iverson, who helped them climb to a 50 win season.
