The Reds were one of the American Association charter teams in 1881, before eventually joining the National League in 1890. They are 5x World Series Champions, 3 of which came between 1975 and 1990, the era of the Big Red Machine. Guys like Johnny Bench, Tony Pérez, Pete Rose and Ken Griffey Sr. put on a show, just beside the Ohio River at Riverfront Stadium.
