Placard from hockey great Kimmo Timonen's retirement night in Philadelphia in 2015

Kimmo Timonen has been involved in professional hockey since the early 1990s, and he made his NHL debut for the Nashville Predators during the 1999-2000 season. Kimmo is widely respected for his toughness on the ice by both his teammates and fans, and he culminated his stellar career in a Stanley Cup victory with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015! He retired from the NHL in Philadelphia later that year, and the Flyers honored him on the ice.
